We're a verified Apple Technical Partner, the credential formerly known as Apple Consultants Network. A generalist can call itself "Apple-friendly" on a website. What it can't do is produce a credential like this one, because it doesn't have it.

In practice, it means Apple hardware has never been a side skill here. MacServ IT has been Apple-focused since the late 1990s, about 29 years, and this credential is recent proof of something that was already true.

That focus doesn't mean we ignore everything else. One of our technicians is as strong on Windows as the rest of us are on Apple, and handles the Android side too. Being an Apple Technical Partner means Apple is the main event here, not the whole show.

What is an Apple Technical Partner?

It's a verified partner status Apple recognizes, formerly called Apple Consultants Network. It separates a business that's actually verified by Apple from one that just calls itself 'Apple-friendly' on a website.

Is that the same thing as Apple Consultants Network?

Yes. The program was renamed. We're verified under the current name, Apple Technical Partner, and we still write out the old name too, because plenty of people still search for it and it helps confirm we're talking about the same credential.

What is an Apple Premium Technical Partner, and do you have that?

It's a smaller, higher tier, held by roughly 27 shops nationally. We don't have it yet. It's our stated goal, not a credential we're claiming today. We'd rather tell you exactly where we stand than round up.

Does being Apple-focused mean you don't support Windows?

No. We manage the whole fleet. One of our technicians is as strong on Windows as the rest of us are on Apple, and also handles Android. Apple is the specialty here, not the only thing we touch.

How is this different from your Jamf and Mosyle certification?

The MDM certifications are about how we manage devices day to day. Apple Technical Partner status is a separate, broader recognition from Apple itself. Together they're the depth a generalist can't fake: verified partner status plus dual MDM certification.
